FROZEN

The mountain enters the body as if it had always been there.

Rock, mist and skin share the same geography. The face retains just enough to remain human while the landscape moves across it, cold, immense, indifferent.

There is something strange in that stillness. The sense that any movement would break the balance.

That is why she remains still.
