DARK BEAUTY
The painter insisted that he had never finished this portrait.
Every night he covered part of the face. Every morning he found another part uncovered.
He thought someone was entering the studio.
He changed the lock.
It made no difference.
After a month, he understood his mistake:
he was not the one painting the picture.
