One day I discovered that my head no longer belonged to me.
It did not happen all at once. First there was one thread. Then another. Then hundreds.
I thought of cutting them.
But I understood that each one was carrying something of mine toward a place I did not know.
Since then, I try not to move when the wind blows.
I don’t know how much of me remains.
Nor do I know if that matters.
