A city can be remembered without ever having seen it whole.

A corner, a façade, a certain light falling on the buildings is enough. Memory does the rest: removing streets, shifting distances, mixing what happened with what was imagined.

In the end, we keep a city that probably never existed quite like this. But it is ours.
