INFINITY

The landscape is not behind the face.

It begins within it.

The line of the mouth becomes a horizon; the skin, a territory. Above, a cloud rises into the space where the head should end.

There is no clear boundary between body, earth and sky.

That is Infinity: the moment when scale stops being useful and we no longer know whether we are looking at a face becoming landscape, or a landscape that, for some reason, has decided to have a face.
