IN THE JUNGLE
The jungle does not surround the body.
It occupies it.
Leaves pass through the skin, erase its boundaries, and turn the face into part of a vegetation that seems to have been there long before.
There is no figure and background. No portrait and landscape.
Only one form of life entering another.
And neither seems willing to retreat.
