ABSTRAKT

The face bears more than it remembers.

Surfaces, accidents, corrections accumulate. Some things adhere; others tear away part of what was underneath. Eventually, it becomes difficult to know what belongs to time and what belongs to us.

Identity may be precisely that difficulty: still recognising ourselves when there is no longer an original version to return to.
